Great observation and dissection of different parts of FDE. Completely agree and i think this is going to evolve rapidly and then there will be companies/tech which will enable it in different way. But super informative read.
Here is my burning question. I run a voice ai company. I've considered becoming an FDE at Anthropic, Eleven Labs, etc, but why not do it yourself. If you can do the branding / and marketing to get clients, do you NEED the larger companies? Is it more profitable to own the whole stack from marketing to implementation? Would love any visibility to this.
